Our family is in our 3rd year/child with "Miss Faye." Words can never express what a year with Faye is like. A changed prayer life for each of my 4-year-old children is the most obvious thing that comes to mind. Scriptures rolling off their tongues taught to them by this woman...Encouragement and prayers for the moms and dads...A dedication to going above and beyond in our lives... I've had many a 4-year-old begin a sentence with "Well, Miss Faye says..."
Faye has become a good friend and a mentor for me. I have entrusted her with things from my darkest hours because of the relationship we formed as teacher and parent. I KNEW she would pray for me, that she would be confidential, that she would follow up with me to make sure I was doing okay. I always trust her wisdom and her spirit that she has surrendered to God.
In the midst of her own battles and hard times, she has continually served others in mighty ways. She truly models a servant of God who lives fully "Jesus-first, Others-2nd and Self-3rd."
My only regret is that my oldest son did not get to have her in class since we did not attend Otter Creek when he was 4. However, she has adopted him as one of her own. "Miss Faye" is one of the most precious women we know. We love her! I'm so thankful that this school allowed me the opportunity to know her and be blessed by her.
Faye, may God continually dwell in you and use you to bless others to His glory. May he bless you and keep you and your family.
All our love, The Robersons John, Kathryn Will, Ben, Jake and Hank
