Welcome to Otter Creek Stories
The Advisory Board has decided to chronicle through this blog how the Otter Creek School is and has been touching lives over the years. If your family has been influenced by this school, we invite you to write about it on this site (you may choose to remain anonymous.) We hope that the stories shared here will not only bless the teachers who have been angels to so many but that those who may not know about our little school or teachers will praise God for the mighty things He has done at this place. May God receive all the glory and praise and may all the children who have spent time with us here always know the incredible love of our Savior for them.

I am not quite sure how to put into words what Otter Creek Kindg. and Preschool means to me. This school has been a part of my life since I was born. I have witnessed teachers work with children whom other schools have turned away, I have seen parents lives touched by simply watching these godly teachers go about their daily jobs, I have seen the teachers gather in the morning before school to pray over the children and their families, I have watched these women counsel families on parenting and personal issues, basically...I have seen how God works though humans. Each of the women here mean so much to me. They are FAMILIY to me and so many others. Otter Creek Kindgergarten and Preschool does a lot more than just prepare children for school, it ministers to people in countless ways.
Plain and simple, Otter Creek Kindergarten has allowed children to be children. The teachers and the director does not hesitate to enforce this fact in word and action. In an geographical area that most completely offers only full-day kindergarten, it is impressive that this school has held strong to keeping the age-appropriate/developmental perspective of children a priority, continuing to offer a shortened day. The heart of the child, and the well-being of the family is so very important in this school. While academics is not forgotten, a child is not pushed to be a scholar at age 5 or 6 yrs. My prayer to those who follow in the leadership positions of this school is a continuation of the loving legacy that warms the heart of the child, and God's Rules rule. Thank you so very much.
Otter Creek Kindergarten and Preschool has been and continues to be an awesome ministry to the Nashville area. God blessed our family with the OCK experience. Each of our three kids graduated from OCK. As they grow and mature, and progress through lower and middle school, it is even more clear what a special gift from God that Otter Creek truely is. The spiritual and educational foundation provided by Ms. Pat and her fine teachers is priceless. Thank you OCK!

Otter Creek school has meant the world to so many. Children are encouraged to grow in many ways and are lovingly shown how much God loves them. Every teacher gives 100% to make sure the children have an amazing school day. This school really is the best of the best. With God leading the way, the future will continue to be bright for this wonderful school.
